 Rubis Jersey Town Criterium and Whitsun Weekend

Velo Sport Jersey in conjunction with Jersey Tourism, Rubis Fuel Supplies (CI) Ltd & Caesarean Cycling club present the Rubis Jersey Criterium and Whitsun Weekend of Racing in Jersey. Commencing Thursday 28^th May 2010 through to Monday 31^st May 2010 and comprising 11 events in total, 5 of which are points scoring BC Sanctioned races.

Events will cater for kids of ages 6-15 right through to Ladies, veterans and Juniors and Elite/1^st Category Riders.

The Rubis Town Criterium Series sees the return of this fantastic Old Jersey Town closed roads race for the first time since the Natwest Jersey Island Games in 1997 and building upon the success of 2009 where CandiTV’s Malcolm Elliott and Graham Briggs ruled the podium mixing it the likes of Sport Beans (Now Wilier-BigMaggys.com-PrendasCiclismo) and Magnus Backstedt’s Swedish Sprocket Pro Cycling Team.

Race 1: 2^nd/3^rd/4^th Category Criterium (45 Minutes + 3 Laps)

Race 2: Elite/1^st/2^nd Category Criterium (55 Minutes + 3 Laps)

Race 3: Ladies Elite/1^st/2^nd/3^rd Category (35 Minutes + 3 Laps)

Monday 31^st May

Race 1: Elite/1^st/2^nd Category 90k Road Race

Race 2: 2^nd/3^rd/4^th Category 55k Road Race
